DescriptionVolunteers needed to accompany children on week-long summer breaks, either residential or camping, in Wales and the Midlands. Volunteers act as key-workers with 2 or 3 children during the week. Children are from disadvantaged backgrounds and greatly benefit from the positive contact. No qualifications are necessary as training is available, but an interest and experience of work with children and young people advantageous. All volunteers are checked by the crb, for which there is no charge. No wages are given, however a £10 membership fee is required from each volunteer to help meet our administration costs. Camps take place in school summer holidays; approximately 17th July to 31st August.

Commitment is required 24 hours a day for length of camp. Positions available include volunteers, minibus drivers (over 25years) and cooks.
